Our Co-Founder, Sampson Kofi Adotey (Ghana) is a Knowledge Broker & Communications Management Specialist with a combined 6 years’ experience in Communications, Project Management and Development Design. He is an ex-Multimedia Journalist & Radio Show Host and holds a B.A (Hons) in Integrated Development Studies. He also holds a Certificate in Science Communications from the United Nations University, Post-Graduate Certificate in Business and Management from Ashesi University and is an alumnus of MIT D-Labs IDDS Program where he received training as a Development Design Facilitator and led a team to work with the Embu County Government of Kenya on facilitating Financial Inclusion through Waste Management. As a Communications and Policy Specialist at the Next Einstein Forum, he is currently working on NEF’s Policy work in the areas of Digital Economy as well as on the Knowledge Implementation Project, a project he is very passionate about. Thus, using Traditional Ecological Knowledge (Indigenous Knowledge) to advance scientific research. He also contributes to the public engagement efforts of NEF through the NEF Platform, Africa Science Week and NEF Programs. He is also a member of the International Development Innovation Network.
